What another great week!

Very tired each night

Hi everybody!!!  It's flown just like all of the others and we have been very busy this week.  Haha we are very tired like every night and we are struggling at times to stay up all the way until 10:30 pm which is awesome because we are worn out and tired from the work of the Lord and it feels good each night to go to bed having had a great day.  We have been very busy.

 The Week in Review!

 

Monday was a good p-day so we play a game about twice a week with the S______ called 'Squash' it is a lot like racket ball with just a smaller ball that was the pictures from last week.  It's really fun and we actually just got done playing today.  When I first started I was awful but I'm getting better and now when I play I only lose by like 5 points instead of like a complete blow-out. 

Tuesday was a day full of service.  We helped out at Mandeni and helped clean up the place a little bit and Tuesday afternoon we spent over at M___ and D_____ P_____ helping cut down some trees and had an awesome lesson with them and M____ was there!!!!:) We are having slow progress with him but it is progress.  We are trying to do some service for him and his wife and hopefully get something set up with him to go golfing!:)  Of course we are working with D____ but we are really focusing on M____ and B__.    We are working close with both families and they are coming along.  We know that it is all in the Lord's hands and His time and so we are just being there friends and offering service and letting them know that we are there when the time comes for them to be ready to receive the Gospel.  Haha but I am trying to set-up a time to go golfing with M____ but haha dad we won't tip over the cart.:)  Haha I hope you are okay.  The amazing thing about this Gospel is it is for everybody and it can help them all in there lives.  How awesome is this Gospel??  The Gospel of Jesus Christ.:) 

Wednesday we did some Family History Work and some indexing and then we helped the S______ with some service.  Wednesday night we had dinner with the W_____ our Branch President and we had an awesome night with them.   That is one of our goals is to get really close to our Branch President and his family because they have 10 kids and a lot to do. We had a great night with them.

Thursday we helped the S_______ pretty much all day with there shed that we are helping them build.  It is coming along really good.  This week we should finish putting on the sheeting on the outside and then we just have the inside to do. :) Haha we are all learning how to build as we go but Elder Newman really good at that kind of stuff and ya he's the man.  Me and Elder Newman are doing great and we are having so much fun.  We have so many plans for after the mission cuz we live so close together and we are definitely best friends.  We are hoping that we get to stay together for another transfer and both get to stay for D____ baptism.:)  Can't believe this is the start of week 5 already.  This week and then next week and this transfer is over. 

Friday we had DTM in the morning over the phone which was good.  We had a senior couple up in Canberra give the training which was really good.  In the afternoon we had some visits to some members in the Branch.  Haha being back in a branch and a huge area it takes time to travel around and so that was our afternoon and that night we had weekly planning.

  

Saturday we had the park run in the morning which was great!!!  Haha helping me get back into shape from all of the weight I put on in MacArthur.  We did good this time I ran it in 30:25! :) After that we had our MCM meeting with our branch mission leader S__ P____ and we were over at his house all day helping in the yard and stuff.  Haha lot's of service which is always good.

Sunday was Church and Church is just always the best.  I love being on a mission because there is no excuse for you to miss Church and I definitely want to keep that after my mission.  Church is the best.  We had an awesome lesson with D____ as well and he is doing awesome!!!!  He is getting excited for his baptism and we are so excited for him!!!!  He is loving the whole thing and even thinking about going on a mission.  Which would be awesome!!!!!  Sunday after Church it was one of the W____ kids birthdays N___ is his name.  Haha he shares it with you mom I guess that must be a good day.  But he turned 8 and he got baptized yesterday.  It was great!  He got baptized in his grandma's swimming pool haha while it was raining.  Haha cold!  We had a great Birthday dinner with them and ya just another great week. 

Things are going great!!!  Love everything and love this Gospel so blessed and honored and grateful for it to be a part of my life.  Love all of you guys and have a great week!!!  Hold to the rod and never let go.  Love yous heaps
